Feels like pine tree tickles.
How, exactly, does a pine tree tickle? Good question.
Have you ever brushed against a pine tree along the needles, and noticed that it feels soft and silky? And then you run into it going the opposite direction, and it feels like the tree has a vendetta against you? That’s what pine tree tickles feel like – sometimes gentle, sometimes stabby, and maybe a little bit sappy.
For me, that’s also what personal growth feels like. It can be uncomfortable and messy, but without those many pointy needles we wouldn’t have a pine tree. We grow into a tree because of them, not in spite of.
Let’s get out there and embrace the tickles – see you in the woods!
